I am a technology and infrastructure leader with more than 20 years of hands-on experience designing, building, scaling, and modernizing IT platforms. Throughout my career, I have grown from a systems engineer into an architect and engineering leader, but I have never lost the practical mindset that comes from working directly with production systems.
My expertise combines deep technical knowledge with business-oriented decision-making. I believe the best technical strategy is built on real operational experience – understanding not only how systems should work but how they behave under load, how they fail, and how to make them reliable, secure, and maintainable over time.
I help organizations design and evolve infrastructure that supports long-term business growth. My work spans the entire lifecycle of a platform: from architecture and technology selection to implementation, automation, operational excellence, and team development.
Over the years, I have led teams of DevOps and SRE engineers, system administrators, and software developers. I focus on establishing engineering standards, improving delivery processes, mentoring engineers, and creating environments where teams can build and operate complex systems with confidence.
I am particularly effective in situations where there is no obvious solution – modernizing legacy infrastructure, designing new platforms from scratch, improving reliability at scale, or helping engineering teams mature their technical practices.
My background covers virtually every layer of modern infrastructure:
Cloud & Virtualization: Kubernetes, OpenStack, Proxmox, Docker, OpenVZ, Virtuozzo, and distributed platforms.
Platform Engineering: Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, GitOps, task automation, observability, and operational tooling.
Networking & Security: DNS, traffic routing, load balancing, firewalls, VPNs, DDoS protection, mail infrastructure, and secure platform design.
Systems Engineering & Hosting: BSD, Linux, Windows, databases, enterprise hardware, and large-scale hosting platforms (including automated provisioning and integration).
High Availability: Scalable architectures, clustering, disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high-load systems.
I also have extensive experience integrating AI and agentic systems into existing enterprise infrastructure. By bridging corporate access controls with modern AI workflows, I help engineering teams automate analysis, improve observability, and reduce operational overhead without sacrificing reliability.
Technology leadership is about much more than choosing tools or managing people. It is about translating business goals into pragmatic technical decisions, building teams capable of executing those decisions, and creating systems and processes that remain sustainable as organizations grow.
I remain an engineer at heart. While I still enjoy solving difficult technical problems, my greatest value today is helping teams build robust platforms, make better architectural decisions, and create engineering cultures where reliability, simplicity, and continuous improvement become the default.
The best infrastructure is often invisible – it simply works. But because everything eventually fails, true resilience isn't just about High Availability (HA); it's about how quickly a system recovers and returns to normal operation. My goal is to build teams and platforms that make this level of reliability possible.
